Track Operator & Board Member at Mile High BMX

The pandemic shut down sporting activities nationwide, including BMX. Many tracks closed their doors for the first time since the late 1970s. MHBMX in Denver, CO was one of the shuttered tracks, and in June 2021 the Board voted me in to re-launch the track.

We successfully pulled off races, events, practices, and the State Qualifier which hosted hundreds of riders. I've passed the TO position to an experienced TO, and our Board is set to take over operations of Dacono BMX for 2022 and beyond.

Cub Scout Pack Leader

As a Cub Scout in the 80s and 90s we didn't see how thin leadership was. As an Eagle Scout, it was assumed that I would lead the Den for my children. Always eager to help, it only took a couple months for the Pack Leader suggestions to begin. In Boy Scouts we showed up with trekking gear and energy. Most parents looked at the program as a place to drop their kids for a couple hours. We filled that world with knowledge and adventure while twisting arms to assist in leadership.
